About me

I am an academic. Behavioral Scientist.

Leadership Coach. Consultant. And a mom.

As a behavioral scientist, I am fascinated by the choices people make in difficult contexts, in particular, how emotion and trust-breaking affect people’s perceptions and behaviors.

My research in these areas has been published in the field’s top journals, and in a TEDx talk, where I presented the counterintuitive idea that anger can be used productively to resolve conflict when the recipient of anger reframes the situation from a different, more passionate, and less angry perspective. Complementing my academic career as an Associate Professor of Management at the Peter T. Paul College of Business & Economics at the University of New Hampshire, I have published an Audible Original, Negotiating at Work.

As a coach for leaders and executives, I apply my knowledge from my research, behavioral science, and psychology to empower business leaders and improve their well-being and success. I absolutely love partnering with executives and leaders, identifying stuck-points and strengths, developing strategies and plans, and being part of their success journey.

In addition to my professional life, I have two little boys who are the bright spots of my world. If you're a parent struggling to find balance and feel like you're not doing enough at work and as a parent, I see you.
